Last month I submitted one of my Devil Summoner RK fanart pieces for an art contest(for the release of the second Raidou game!) run by Atlus Japan. What I didn't know was that the creator and character designer of the series(Kazuma Kaneko) and the game director(Kazuyuki Yamai) actually commented on all the pieces of artwork sent in, holy crap!

Kaneko: There's something quite pleasant about Narumi giving Raidou instructions in gun maintenance in the dimly lit detective agency.

But wait, something's off! Ra-Raidou's hair! Or so I thought, but upon second glance I noticed the scars, so this must be Raido. (Which surprised me!) So this is what the boy from the other world looks like with his hat off. Which is to say that this composition has great atmosphere, and quite unexpectedly made me burst out laughing, too.

But the atmosphere of the picture itself is great, seriously.

((Ari: Kaneko sounds a lot like Isamu ;3))

Yamai: Oh, wow...! Raidou really parts his hair to one side...! And his expression looks somewhat like a certain someone during the event where you recruit him. (I'm old...) ((Ari: He really is, I have no idea what he's talking about >_> )) The picture was skillfully done, and the atmosphere is spot on, but is this serious or tongue-in-cheek... are you testing us? Dang, now you have me worried...!
