Game fanart from Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner Kuzunoha Raidou.

Two Kuzunohas and their demons battle it out

This started out rather sketchy and I kept it that way to preserve the flow and grittiness of the picture. I really like the traditional Japanese patterns and motifs the game uses in the character screens, so I had to give it a go.

The movement and angles in the piece shake things up by stirring the viewer, and the combination of the rough sketch quality and the smoother lines reflect a few different styles all at once-- overall, it gives the feeling of discomfort by in a way that the onlooker can't quite clearly sum the piece up at once... as if it has a variety of untold secrets. Holy crap, this is incredible! I must admit I know nothing about this game, but this picture definitely makes me want to check it out. I love the sketchiness of the back ground and the bright colors of the pattern on the top. This is simply fabulous!

The roughness of the background and how it easily

melds in with the two men really caught my eye in this
