Wredwrat has skillfully mastered the original look of the game art, but she manages not to lose herself in the process; the painting still exudes her own style to a great extent. The attention to detail in the background is amazing. The warm lighting sets a realistically appropriate ambiance for the daytime setting. What I find particularly notable in this piece overall is that the simple, cartoonish characters don't seem out of place in this detailed painting at all."

For the sake of composition I tried not to put too many separate objects in the background, and to just accent with smaller details instead. I especially enjoyed drawing and painting up the Laytonmobile.
