This creature is an Umbra Dragon, and he's lookin at ya. ;D

Close -Up shot here.

First time I've painted a full scale dragon, he was pretty good fun actually!
This painting helped me familiarise myself with CS3, especially for custom brushes,.

Done wholly in Photoshop CS3.

The pose and somewhat chaotic background go well with this picture to really bring out the dragon and intensify the full effect of the drawing. Bravo, simply marvelous.

Oh my god... :faint:

I can't believe I only just now found this master piece. The structure of the muscles, the glow of the eye against the ashy scales, the churning of the seas and the skies, even the way the wing membrane seems to be made of smoke and flares to give the creature a more immense and threatening presence!!!!!
